IDAHO OVERLAND EXPERIENCE ‘THE FALL’
DATES: TBD
An overlanding event with a survivalist vibe! Welcome to all overlanders, wheelers, waste landers, schoolies, survivalists, and anyone else who wants to have some off-roading and camping fun!
IOX The Fall will be held in the idyllic, forested Mountain Mafia Off-Road Park. Just 10 miles north of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and approximately the same distance from the Canadian border.
Overlanders will descend from all over to this privately owned alpine spread covering nearly 100 acres, conveniently bisected with numerous challenging dirt trails.
Please see our Facebook page for schedule!
WHAT TO EXPECT?
IOX the Fall is a great way for all levels of Overlanders to expand their capabilities to new limits. With waivers signed and the initial reconnaissance complete, full reign of the trail system are handed over to all attendees.
Drivers will conquer off-camber sections, deep mud, loose dirt, steep hill climbs, and more with organizers providing tips along the way. An organized poker run to help you get familiar with the trail systems and don’t forget to register your rig and campsite for the “Best of Contest”.
Check out the Facebook Event for more information and details.
Mike from Three Amigos Offroad, teaching his class how to rig a Hi-Lift for winching.
Venue owner Ben provides tips to a driver at an off-camber section of the trail.
Although the Idaho Overland Experience leans toward off-highway driving skills, there will be evening gear raffles, prizes for best vehicles/builds, and live music. A food vendor will be present, and a local craft brewery will have libations for the over-21 crowd. Come relax and breathe in the mountain air, chat with fellow overlanders, and hone your rough-track driving skills.
Among the hands-on driving, numerous classes, and enthusiastic conversations around camp, attendees will not only learn important skills for future expeditions, but also make valuable connections with like-minded adventurers.
